To celebrate turning 30, Anna planned something a little more elaborate than the usual restaurant outing. She gathered her nearest and dearest to dine by candlelight in a gorgeous city garden venue where guests feasted on a custom-made gilded cake, lavender and honey-infused macarons and sipped on Blackberry Whiskey Smashes.

It was an amazing way to ring in a new decade for the photographer and birthday girl. Anna imagined a moody colour palette for her birthday bash that perfectly captured winter in California. Deep purples were used, anchoring some greys and dusty mauves highlighted with accents of gold.
