An Autumnal Country-style Wedding

Jacey and Clint met in year four. As Jacey puts it, the pair have almost spent more time on this planet together than apart. It was in year 11, while they were both working at IGA, that Jacey and Clint found their connection. At such a tender age, their first dates consisted of their parents driving them to each other’s houses the play Nintendo 64.

12 years into their relationship, it was time for Clint to pop the question. The proposal took place at magical Uluru after a day of sightseeing and a night of fine dining. Clint suggested they take a late walk and led Jacey to a view of Uluru with a sky full of stars and a moon unlike anything they’d seen before.

Distracted by the sight, Jacey didn’t notice Clint quietly get down on one knee. Next came the wedding! Jacey styled the wedding herself, with a little help from friends and family.

Autumn colours were used to bring an earthy balance to the elegant silver tableware. Jacey wanted to ‘bring the outside inside’, using warm Autumn tones with natural greens and off whites. The warm tones of the colour palette were mirrored in Jacey’s wedding dress and engagement ring.

Jacey said the visual element for the guests was the most important part of their wedding, so the flowers and venue were crucial details. The wedding was also held at Mindaribba House, adding to the natural, country aesthetic.
