Lisa and Jake met at a local tavern on a university night out 10 years ago, and have been inseparable ever since.

They had travelled to Mexico together on a previous trip and immediately fell in love with the vibrant and exciting country. They always knew they would return to Mexico to celebrate their wedding, surrounded by their closest family and friends.

Lisa had complete creative control over the styling of the wedding. Inspired by Mexico, its vivacious colours and culture, Lisa picked up the decorations from Etsy and the local markets a couple of days before, including a collection of real and fake pineapples, colourful blooms arranged in used cans, sugar-skull-printed napkins, cacti in glass jars, handmade arrows, plywood and paper signs, plywood guest tags and metres of tassel garlands.

Lisa and Jake broke with tradition and started setting up and decorating their venue together on the morning of their wedding.

They had a beautiful spiritual ceremony, where they shared promises of love and made plans for their journey together. The moment they had their first kiss, the mariachi band appeared to play a celebratory tune.

The couple and their guests then enjoyed sunset cocktails on the terrace before a sit-down dinner reception, followed by tequila and dancing.RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_05.jpgRC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_29.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_04.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_03.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_02.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_01.jpgRC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_06.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_09.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_08.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_07.jpgRC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_10.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_14.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_13.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_12.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_11.jpgRC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_15.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_19.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_18.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_17.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_16.jpgRC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_20.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_24.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_23.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_22.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_21.jpgRC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_25.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_30.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_28.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_27.jpg RC_Wedding_Lisa-Jake_26.jpg
